At Montpelier Family Chiropractic we understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few of the reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients, and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies as of December 2017:
- In most cases, a 24-hour advanced notice is requested when cancelling an individual appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to avail themselves of our services.
- If you are unable to give us the minimum 24-hours notice, and we are unable to fill your time slot, you may be charged a $35 curtesy fee. At our discretion this charge will be automatically applied to your patient ledger to be paid prior to your next treatment.
- On the other hand, if we are able to fill “your” time slot with somebody else, you will not be charged for that missed appointment.
No Shows
Anyone who either forgets, is significantly late, or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged a $35 courtesy fee for their “missed” appointment, and future service will be denied until payment is made.
Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers: Please plan accordingly to be on time. Late arrival may mean we’ll have to shorten your appointment time to keep the rest of our schedule intact.
