About Us
Montpelier
Family Chiropractic is devoted to providing you with personalized, high
quality, natural health care, and keeping it affordable so that you and
your family can enjoy the benefits of improved health for years to come.
Dr. Theresa Neiss
Chiropractic Physician
Theresa M. Neiss, D.C. (Dr. Tree) earned her undergraduate degree in
Nutrition from Cornell University and her Doctorate from New York
Chiropractic College. She relocated to this area in 2003 and purchased
her home with Ron Nanni in Montpelier, which was the first site of Montpelier Family
Chiropractic.
Dr. Tree enjoys spending time with her two new puppies, Dante and Luna,
who are Labrador and Weimaramer mixes. They are smart and very
energetic, not to mention adorable! She also spends time with her horse,
Legit (short for Strictly Legit), who is teaching her about
Dressage riding (he's another very smart pet!) as well as natural
horsemanship and Eventing. Other interests and hobbies include cooking and baking, and educating
the community about health and nutrition.

Gerry Bunnell
Certified Massage Therapist
Certified Reiki Master/Teacher
Gerry Bunnell is the staff massage therapist here at Montpelier
Family Chiropractic. He has been practicing in the alternative therapies
field since 1997 as a Reiki Master/Teacher in the Usui Shiki Ryoho form
of the natural healing art. He received his massage degree from the Virginia
School of Technology in March 2002 and is certified through the Virginia
Board of Nursing to practice massage in the State of Virginia.
Gerry’s trademark is the use of Massage, Reiki and his knowledge of
the energetic pathways of the body to tailor sessions specific to the
needs of his patients. His therapeutic sessions are designed to release
blockages on all levels, encouraging the life forces of the body to
regain their natural state of flowing freely.
Many of our patient’s have exclaimed how Gerry’s hands “are like
magic!” as they have floated out the door after one of his sessions.
Emily Johnson
Chiropractic Assistant
Emily Johnson joined us in October of 2008. She is
quick with a smile and very easy going.
Emily was born and raised here in Montpelier
then left for 5 years to study Permaculture and Organic Farming in the
Shenandoah Valley. She has returned to her home town to develop a market
farm on her family’s property and sell the produce to the local
community.
She believes optimal health includes being
balanced on all levels: physical, mental, emotional and spiritual, and
appreciates how we focus on obtaining optimal health here at the clinic.
She also enjoys being involved with helping her home town community.
Our Mission is to aid and support
those who
choose to live healthier, happier lives.
We promise to do this with
honesty, integrity,
compassion, laughter and friendship.

Buddy Bear always has a warm welcome for everyone - especially if you've
got a pic-a-nik basket!
